What the Wealth Palace governs
The Wealth Palace describes your relationship with money as a flow: how you earn it, through which channels, with what instincts, and where it leaks. It is not a "rich-o-meter" — a modest Wealth Palace in a strong chart earns well; a grand one in a weak chart spends grandly. Read together with the Life and Career palaces (its trine), it answers: what kind of work turns into money for you?
How a reader reads this palace
Wu Qu (the General, and the chief wealth star) here reads as disciplined, structured earning — finance, operations, systems. Tian Ji reads as money from ideas and change; Tai Yang as money through visibility and public roles; Tai Yin as money from property, night work or quiet accumulation. Hua Lu lubricates the flow; Hua Ji marks the recurring leak — the theme (health, partners, speculation) named by the star carrying it. An empty Wealth Palace borrows the Fortune Palace opposite: earning follows inner values more than strategy.

Not by itself. It describes money's plumbing — channels and instincts. A strong Wealth Palace in a weak decade underperforms a modest one in a strong decade; and the Life/Career trine decides whether the plumbing connects to a working engine.
A recurring leak around the star carrying it — speculation if Tan Lang, over-lending if Tian Tong, systems failing if Wu Qu. The reading names the leak so it can be budgeted for; Ji in Wealth is managed, not suffered.
