The Children Palace (子女宫, Zǐ Nǚ Gōng) is one of the twelve palaces of a Zi Wei Dou Shu chart. Children, fertility, your bond with the next generation — and everything you bring into the world that outlives its making.
What the Children Palace governs
The Children Palace covers children — their number, timing, temperament and your relationship with them — and by extension everyone junior to you: students, mentees, apprentices. Many schools also read it as the palace of creative output and of intimate life, since all three are "what you produce". For teachers and founders it often reads as clearly as for parents.
How a reader reads this palace
Strong, bright stars here read as children who thrive and juniors who rise; Hua Ji marks the worry that will not retire — often a child whose path diverges from yours, or creative work that demands more than planned. The opposite palace is Property: the household the children grow up in, read as one axis. An empty Children Palace borrows the Property Palace — the family environment itself describes the next generation's story.

Classical texts gave numbers, but modern readers treat it as the pattern of the bond — temperament, timing pressure, relationship texture — since contraception and choice have made raw counts unreliable. For "products" of work, it still reads surprisingly literally.
It borrows the Property Palace's stars: the story of the next generation runs through the household itself. Common, and not an omen — the reading simply shifts its evidence to the home axis.
